La storia del brand
Officine Gullo was born in Florence from the vision of Carmelo Gullo, an engineer and the holder of several patents. It all began with a discovery: an antique wood-burning stove, long forgotten in a warehouse. From there grew the desire to revive a lost art, that of the metal kitchens which, in the nineteenth century, Florence’s artistic foundries crafted for the city’s most distinguished families.
Working alongside the region’s mechanical workshops and bronze founders, Carmelo Gullo created his first bespoke kitchens for historic villas, country estates and aristocratic residences. Today he leads the company together with his sons Pietro, Andrea and Matteo.
Brass, copper, cast iron and heavy-gauge steel are worked entirely by hand, striking a rare balance between classic elegance and cutting-edge technology. Each kitchen is a one-of-a-kind piece, made to stand the test of time and to be handed down from generation to generation.
